We offer 3 formats of video conversion - Viewing File, Editing File and Archival File. Please pick your preference.

All our audio and video equipments are professional/high-end grade and frequently maintained to ensure optimal quality. when call for, we will process video tapes multiple times to obtain best quality. TBC (Time Base Corrector) and Video stabliser are equipments used to correct video timing issues and help correct unstable video. All video transfer uses S-video, firewire or component video to ensure maximum quality.

Viewing File:
Format (Mp4) - For Ease of viewing and convenient, can easily viewed on smartphone, smartTV, Tablet, Ipad, Mac, PC, etc. Capture using professional video equipment, and will apply TBC when applicable. HDV/DV shot at High Definition, add $2.00 per minute.

格式 (Mp4) - 觀看方便, 可以在大多數電視，智能手機、平板電腦上輕易觀看。使用專業錄影設備，會盡可能使用TBC。HDV/DV 高清拍攝的影片，加 $2.00 每分鐘。

VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Video8, capture mp4

Editing File:
Format (AVI) - For pure capture of orignal video, professsional video equipment with firewire is used to preserve original detail and colour. Will apply TBC when applicable. No other editing is performed. HDV/DV shot at High Definition, add $2.00 per minute.
PAL: YUV 4:2:0, NTSC YUV 4:1:1, Bit Rate ~24Mb/s, about 13GB per hour of video.

Archival File:
Format (MOV) - ProRes HQ 4:2:2 For preserving the video in its highest quality. Professional video equipemnt, TBC and/or Video Stablizer are used and the signal is captured by Blackmagic equipment via compenent cable. The resulting file is among the highest quality in video capture industry. No editing is performed.
PAL: YUV 4:2:2, NTSC YUV 4:2:2, Bit Rate ~60Mb/s, about 30GB per hour of video.

  • Video Tape to MP4 and Audio Tape to MP3 Service (Personal home movies and audio tapes only, We DO NOT convert any copyrighted material.)

  • VHS/ VHS-C / DVCAM / MiniDV / Video8 / Hi8 / Digital8 Tape to MP4/AVI = HK$4.50 per minute, ProRes 4:2:2 = HK$6.50 per minute of actual footage. HDV / DVCAM / MiniDV shot at HD, add $2.00 per minuite. 20 minutes per tape minimum charge and 100 minutes per order minimum charge.

  • DVD/VCD Disc = $2.50 per minute actual footage, with 40 minutes per tape minimum charge and 200 minutes per order minimum charge.

  • Audio Cassette Tape / MD MiniDisc / Microcassette to WAV = HK$3.00 per minute actual recording, with 30 minutes per tape minimum charge and 120 minutes per order minimum charge.

  • Does not qualify for free USB Flash Drive or Volume Discount. Save to USB Flash Device price will depend on size required.

  • Broken Video Tape Service Fee - Old video can sometimes break during playback. In such case, a $50.00 Service Fee will apply per incident.

  • Video Tape Additional Fee - if your video tape has white spots or mold, we may need to use dedicated tape clean machine and may need to repeat the process many times in order to get an acceptable quality video. In such case, additional fee will depend on complexity.

  • VHS / VHS-C / DVCAM / MiniDV / Video8 / Hi8 / Digital8 錄影帶轉換到 MP4，每分鐘HK$4.50，ProRes 4:2:2每分鐘HK$6.50實際影像。HDV / DVCAM / MiniDV 高清拍攝, 每分鐘加$2.00。每盒帶最低收費20分鐘及最小訂單100分鐘。

  • DVD/VCD 轉換到 MP4，每分鐘HK$2.50實際影像，每片最低收費40分鐘及最小訂單200分鐘。

  • 錄音帶 / MD MiniDisc / Micro錄音帶, 轉換到 WAV，每分鐘HK$3.00實際音訊，每盒帶最低收費30分鐘及最小訂單120分鐘。

  • 不包括免費USB閃存驅動器或數量折扣。存檔到USB閃存盤的價格將取決於所需的容量。

  • 錄影帶斷帶維修服務: 舊錄影帶有可能隨時斷開，每次駁帶維修服務$50.00。

  • 錄影帶附加費 - 如果錄影帶上有白色斑點或發霉，它可能需要用專用錄影帶清洗機及重複清洗工序，才可錄得可接受畫面，視情況而確定收費。
